Senate Sits on Cap and Trade Bill

Republicans are outraged and environmentalists are underwhelmed by the narrowly passed Waxman- Markey bill, more commonly known as the "cap-and-trade" bill. The bill is meant to enhance domestic use of renewable energy, end American dependency on foreign oil, and create jobs - all seemingly positive things for our economy yet there is ton of controversy surrounding the bill.
