*i.e. “clueless,” for non-Brits

BusinessGreen posted an interesting blog piece yesterday about the energy strategy currently on the Department of Energy and Climate Change floor. The plan, which will be officially revealed tomorrow, is already expected to raise annual energy bills by about 200, a fact with which UK residents are less than pleased. Author James Murray questions the figure, arguing that no one can accurately predict the exact cost of renewable energy in ten, even five years. Still, he defends the DECC for taking proactive steps to rectify the current energy crisis. Murray recommends that home and business owners invest in renewable energy in order to take stock in their own uncertain future. Sound advice for us non-Brits too, no? Read his full blog post here.
