A2X Consulting will host an event for businesses that are curious about how green strategies can earn them greater profit. The event is geared towards small and medium-sized companies (15-200 employees) but is relevant to all.

Sustainability strategies are critical to reducing operating costs, increasing profit, and beating the competition. Sustainability is an excellent means for combating the economic downturn while doing the right thing.

This forum will address easy and immediate ways for businesses to save money by going green. Topics include:

Michael Maggio | VP, Global Strategic Design Operations
Johnson & Johnson, Consumer Companies, Inc.

A veteran of consumer product design and packaging, Michael Maggio has been instrumental in developing a cohesive Packaging and Design Process strategy for Johnson &Johnson Consumer Companies, Inc. He has been responsible for globalizing the consumer packaging department for more than 450 brands including AVEENO, JOHNSON & JOHNSON and BAND-AID Brand Adhesive Bandages. Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson Consumer Companies, Inc., Michael held a number of roles at the Estee Lauder Companies, Inc., most recently as an Executive Director, Package Development in the Aveda brand where he used engineering to drive their sustainability efforts.

Joseph Fiordaliso | Commissioner
Board of Public Utilities

Commissioner Fiordaliso served as Mayor of Livingston Township for three terms. In 1990 he was appointed by the Essex County Executive to serve as the Director of Planning and Economic Development. He has worked extensively with the New Jersey Democratic State Committee and served as District Director for Senate President Richard Codey. He was named Deputy Chief of Staff in Governor Codey's Office in November 2004. In 2005 Joe was nominated by Governor Richard Codey and confirmed by the Senate, to be a Commissioner on the Board of Public Utilities.

Mr. Russell is a leader in advancing sustainable development aligned strategies and management systems. He has worked with a broad range of worldwide clients including corporations; government organizations; NGOs, non-profits and universities. He was US Environmental Practice Leader for PricewaterhouseCoopers and he is the founder of SKN Worldwide-USA, Inc. a sustainability consulting and technology services company. He is a lead editor and co-author of the Sustainable Enterprise Fieldbook scheduled for publication by GreenLeaf Publishing in October 2008.
